"I get knocked down, but I get up again"

I saw the below post on Instagram and immediately thought of “Cam”. For 2 happy weeks in hospital I had a soul connection (well I felt I did, anyway) with a friend I felt really understood me.

Sometimes friends “get you” more than family and in rare cases, more than spouses.

I still miss him. My friend. As time passes, hopefully I’ll miss him less. Here’s hoping.
